Ingredients
- 2 branches of scallion
- 1 whole egg
- Half of 1 egg yolk
- 1.35 fl oz melted butter
- Half a teaspoon of vinegar
- 1 thin slice of ham
- 3 grams of butter
- A few drops of lime or lemon juice
- Salt, pepper to taste
Mug Bread
- Half a teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons almond flour or 1 tablespoon coconut flour instead
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Start by preparing the mug of bread. Put the butter in a small microwave-safe round mug bowl and melt it for 20 seconds. Add baking powder, flour, and finally, the egg. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are combined. Put it in the microwave again and run for 90 seconds this time.
- Preheat the pan and add the butter. Melt it and toast both sides of the bread.
- Spread the ham on the counter floor and take a piece out of it with a round mold. Fry both sides in the same pan.
- Then, get a deep salad bowl. Pour 1 egg yolk into it and add vinegar. Mix, then add melted butter, followed by lemon or lime juice while continuing to mix. Add black pepper and salt according to your taste and continue mixing. When the whisking process is finished, you will have hollandaise sauce.
- Take a medium saucepan and fill it with water. Crack the egg into a bowl. When the water in the pot starts to boil, transfer the egg from the bowl into it. Close the lid of the pot with the egg and boil it for 3-5 minutes. Remove a plate towards the end of the process. This will be your serving plate. Put your toasted keto bread at the bottom.
- Put the fried ham on it, then the egg.
- And now, if you’re ready, the most delicious part comes. Grab a spoon and pour plenty of that awesome hollandaise sauce we made together.
- Chop the scallion into rings, then sprinkle over the keto eggs Benedict. Voila!

Eggs also provide very high-quality protein. Omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants are just two of the most essential things they have. But it doesn’t end there.

However, that quality protein we mentioned is mostly found in egg whites, but this does not mean the yolk is harmful.
Egg yolk contains healthy fats and vitamins that are essential for your body. They make a real addition to your daily nutritional needs.
The scallion you sprinkle on it supports the immune system, regulates blood sugar, prevents cancer and protects the stomach from ulcers.
Its white part especially contains plenty of vitamin A. Scallion goes well with many dishes. If consuming it does not bother you, try to use it as much as possible for your health.
Egg Benedict also contains lemon juice, which has dozens of benefits.
Its most important feature is that it protects the health of your urinary tract and facilitates the elimination of harmful substances in your body.
