What is Keto Chicken Skewers in Oven?

Vegetables and chicken are threaded on skewers in order and then baked in the oven. This flavor isn’t like other homemade chicken skewers. But why?

When it comes to chicken breast, it is generally inevitable that the chicken will dry out. Afterward, it is inevitable to end up with tasteless chicken breasts. But this dish is different. Recipe – 15min prep / 30min baking time

Grate a large onion, squeeze out the juice, and add only the juice of the onion to a large bowl.

Grate the garlic and add to the bowl.

Add 10 tbsp of olive oil, Greek yogurt, salt, and all the spices on it and mix well.

Tip: The more olive oil you use in this step, the tastier the food will be. You can use more oil if you wish.

Add the diced chicken breasts and mix well.

Cover this bowl with a cling film and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Tip: The marinating process is one of the most important steps of a chicken dish. The longer you let it sit, the tastier the dish will be. If you don’t have a time limit, put the chickens in the fridge the night before and let them marinate.

Chop all the vegetables in the other ingredients part except mushrooms in medium thicknesses and sizes.

Recommendation: If you soak your skewers in a water bowl for an hour, they will not darken while baking.

Mix these vegetables with 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Preheat the oven.

Oven Temperature: 180°C / 356°F

Thread the skewers alternately with mushrooms, vegetables, and chicken.

Continue until all the ingredients are used up.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Place this tray in the middle of the oven.

Place an oven wire rack on it.

Arrange skewers on top of the wire rack, then bake.

Tip: Don’t forget to do them upside down periodically.

Bake for 20-25 minutes and serve.

Other Tips and Replacements

You can also use chicken thighs instead of breasts.

In addition to vegetables, you can also use eggplant and cherry tomatoes.

While threading ingredients onto the skewers, you can also use halloumi cheese. They are both keto friendly and quite delicious. And they take chicken skewers to another dimension and still make them quite tasty. But because this cheese is so salty, soak them in warm water for a while before using them.
