- 1/3 cup with 1 Tbsp raw honey
- 1 Tbsp tapioca flour
- 3 large eggs along with 1 yolk
- 1/2 tsp coconut flour
Instructions
Step 1.
First of all, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Right after that, go ahead with the lining of an 8 x 8 inches baking dish with parchment paper.
Place the butter properly on the bottom as well as the sides.
Step 2.
Then, go ahead with the preparation of the crust. For that, you have to whisk together all the ingredients until they attain a smooth texture.
You can also utilize the electric mixer and then continue stirring the ingredients until you see that they are well combined.
If you want better results, there is another option as well for its preparation. Chill the whole mix for five or ten minutes.
Now keep pressing the crust into the bottom of the parchment paper. However, remember to do it evenly while poking all over with the fork.
When you start noticing that the crust is baking, you have to whisk the filling ingredients into the large bowl until you see they turn very smooth.
Once they get smoothened, you have to place the bowl aside.
Step 3.
Then, go ahead with baking the crust for around ten or twelve minutes until you see the development of the light brown color around the edges.
Now, you have to whisk the filling mixture and pour it over the hot crust.
You can do that by lowering the temperature to around 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Now go ahead with baking another for 15 or 18 minutes at a stretch.
You can do that at 325 degrees Fahrenheit only. Continue doing that unless you notice that the filling is sitting in the center.
Now allow the pan to get cooled on the wire rack. Then, you have to refrigerate the contents for around 2 hours just before serving them.
Sometimes, refrigerating the dish overnight will work best.
Step 4.
For serving, you can cut the cold bars into 16 square pieces. Take care of the sharp edges of the knife while you do that.
Just go ahead with sprinkling organic powdered sugar while also adding some grated lemon zest on the top.
You can also use coconut whipped cream to enhance the taste. However, it is dependent on the choice of flavor that you want.
As you serve, you’ll notice some leftovers. Now store the leftover portions in the refrigerator for up to three days. You can use them for consumption later.
