Ingredients
Ground beef (1.4 pounds)
Pickled Jalapeno (2 peppers)
Onion (1 small)
Garlic (3 cloves)
Tomato (2, medium-size)
Butter (3.5 tbsp)
White cheddar cheese (2 cups, shredded)
Your favorite spices (Pepper, chili flakes, cumin, dry thyme)
Salt to taste
Recipe – 15min prep / 35min cooking and baking time
Start by heating a large skillet.
Then preheat the oven.
Oven temperature: 200°C / 390°F
Transfer the ground beef to the heated skillet and smash it apart with a wooden spoon.
Recommendation: The stove can stay on high heat for a short time, but when the meat starts to release water, reduce the heat and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the water is absorbed again.
When the ground beef absorbed its water, add the butter and fry it well over medium heat.
Then add the spices.
Tip: You can use all your favorite spices at this stage. Spices that would go well with this dish: Chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, black pepper, chili flakes, and oregano.
Chop the onion very finely, grate if possible and add to the beef.
Grate and add the garlic cloves as well.
If you wish, you can use garlic powder instead.
Increase the heat and continue cooking, stirring well.
Continue by peeling 2 medium tomatoes.
Dice the tomatoes, then add them to the ground beef.
Stir and cook for a short time.
Finally, add the salt and turn off the stove.
Tip: For meat dishes, always add salt at the last stage, shortly before turning off the stove. Salt added in the first step causes all kinds of meat to release water.
Place ground beef on a rectangular baking tray.
Spread them evenly on the tray.
Slice pickled jalapeno peppers and arrange them on the beef.
Finally, spread shredded cheese on the top layer.
Then put it in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
That’s all.

Plain greek yogurt and scallion slices are ready to take their place alongside casserole as a nice accompaniment. Its construction is quite simple:
Mix a few tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt with sliced scallion, and add some salt.
In addition, if you do not prefer, you can use ground chicken or chopped into small pieces of chicken breast instead of ground beef.
You can also add shredded cauliflower. If you’d like to add cauliflower, sauté the shredded cauliflower while you’re sautéing the beef, and continue with the recipe instructions in the same way and it’s ready.
