  2. You can increase the amount of fiber and motility in your intestines by consuming raw fruits and vegetables. This prevents toxins from waiting in the intestines and being reabsorbed.
  3. You’ll get fiber and vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant if you consume dark green leafy vegetables like spinach, arugula, cress, dill, and parsley. If you can’t consume vegetables this way, remember that pulp-free vegetable juices do the same.

Do Not Neglect Oil for Detox

Don’t do a detox for the purpose of losing weight. The human body works flawlessly and can fight the toxins it encounters. The liver, kidneys, intestines, and skin work continuously to detoxify and protect the body from toxins. 

How is a detox diet done?

  1. Eat 6 meals a day, including 3 main meals and 3 snacks.
  2. Drink 2 liters of water a day.
  3. Salt causes water to keep in the body. Reduce salt consumption.
  4. Caffeinated beverages should not be consumed.
  5. 6 medium-sized fruits should be consumed a day between meals. Fruit meets the daily sugar need. Thus, you will not be looking for junk food.
  6. Walk 45 minutes a day.
  7. You should consume vegetables in at least one meal. If possible, consume for two meals.
  8. Vitamin C prevents dehydration. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit and parsley, pepper, citrus fruits, strawberry, kiwi, broccoli, celery.
  9. 2 glasses of milk, yogurt or kefir should be consumed a day.
  10. Grilled meat, chicken or fish should be eaten every two days.

5-Day Meal Plan For Detox

Below the detox meal plan is a sample plan. Individuals’ nutritional needs can vary.

Day 1 – 2

When you wake up:

  • 1 glass of lukewarm water with lemon or grapefruit. (Lukewarm water activates and cleans the intestines. Lemon and grapefruit can burn fat. Or 1 glass of warm water should be drunk and 3 medium-sized dried apricots or prunes should be eaten.)

Breakfast:

  • 2 thin slices (50 grams) of low-fat feta cheese
  • 2 thin slices of whole wheat bread
  • Tomato, cucumber
  • Parsley or dill

Snack:

  • Fresh fruit

Before lunch:

  • 1 glass of lukewarm water (lemon juice in it)

Lunch:

  • Grilled fish / chicken / red meat (150 grams)
  • Lean green salad

Snack:

  • 1 fruit
  • 3 diet biscuits (optional)

Before dinner:

  • 1 cup of lukewarm water with lemon or mint tea.

Dinner:

  • Grilled fish / chicken / red meat (150 grams)
  • Lean green salad

Day 3 – 4 – 5

When you wake up:

Breakfast:

  • 2 thin slices (50 grams) of low-fat feta cheese
  • 2 thin slices of whole wheat bread
  • Tomato, cucumber
  • Parsley or dill

Snack:

  • Fresh fruit

Before lunch:

  • 1 glass of lukewarm water (lemon juice in it)

Lunch:

  • One serving of the low-fat vegetable meal
  • 1 bowl of nonfat yogurt
  • Lean green salad

Snack:

  • 1 fruit

Before dinner:

  • 1 cup of lukewarm water with lemon or mint tea.

Dinner:

  • One serving of low-fat chickpeas, green lentils, red lentils or baked beans meal
  • 1 bowl of nonfat yogurt
  • Lean green salad

After dinner:

  • 1 fruit
  • A glass of herbal tea (no strong scientific evidence of its efficiency)
