Ingredients: 6 servings
2-pound chicken wings and drumettes
3 tbsp melted unsalted butter or coconut oil
1 tsp fine sea salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp wing sauce or other medium-hot hot sauce( to taste)
1/2 batch blue cheese
Celery sticks (as desired)
carrots sticks(as desired)
Preparation: 5 mins prep time – 35 minutes cook time
Preheat the oven to 425 F
In a large bowl, place your chicken wings and drummettes. Continue by adding the melted butter and toss using a spatula to coat the chicken evenly.
Tip: If you wish to make the recipe healthier and dairy-free just switch out the butter for coconut oil. The results will be just as delicious.
In a rimmed baking sheet, place your buttered chicken and season well with salt and pepper. Both sides.
Bake your Keto chicken wings for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and golden. You can also use a knife to cut through them to confirm they are cooked through.
Tip: Midway cooking your wings, flip them to ensure they are crunchy on each side. This will help to cook evenly.
Remove your rimmed baking sheet from the oven and brush your chicken with your desired hot sauce. Place back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes or until crispy.
