3 tbsp melted unsalted butter or coconut oil
1 tsp fine sea salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp wing sauce or other medium-hot hot sauce( to taste)
For serving:
1/2 batch blue cheese
Celery sticks (as desired)
carrots sticks(as desired)
Preparation: 5 mins prep time – 35 minutes cook time
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 425 F
Step 2:
In a large bowl, place your chicken wings and drummettes. Continue by adding the melted butter and toss using a spatula to coat the chicken evenly.
Tip: If you wish to make the recipe healthier and dairy-free just switch out the butter for coconut oil. The results will be just as delicious.
Step 3:
In a rimmed baking sheet, place your buttered chicken and season well with salt and pepper. Both sides.
Step 4:
Bake your Keto chicken wings for 35 to 40 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden. You can also use a knife to cut through them to confirm they are cooked through.
Tip: Midway cooking your wings, flip them to ensure they are crunchy on each side. This will help to cook evenly.
Step 5:
Remove your rimmed baking sheet from the oven and brush your chicken with your desired hot sauce. Place back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes or until crispy.
Serve your chicken with blue cheese dressing, celery sticks and carrots sticks. Family dinner night has never tasted or looked so good!
