Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 35 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2-pound chicken wings and drumettes
  • 3 tsp. melted unsalted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp. fine sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. wing sauce or other medium-hot hot sauce( to taste)

For serving

  • 1/2 batch blue cheese
  • Celery sticks (as desired)
  • Carrots sticks (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F
  2. In a large bowl, place your chicken wings and drumettes. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika to the melted butter. This will coat your wings in a flavorful, smoky mixture that will caramelize beautifully in the oven, giving your wings a stunning color and a mouth-watering aroma.
  3. Place your buttered chicken on a rimmed baking sheet and season well with salt and pepper. Both sides.
  4. Bake your Keto chicken wings for 35 to 40 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden. You can also use a knife to cut through them to confirm they are cooked through.
  5. Remove your rimmed baking sheet from the oven and brush your chicken with your desired hot sauce. Place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes or until crispy.
  6. Serve your chicken with blue cheese dressing, celery sticks and carrot sticks. Family dinner night has never tasted or looked so good!
  7. When ready to enjoy again, you can reheat the keto chicken wings on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 350 F for about 5 minutes or until warmed.

Notes

  • If you wish to make the recipe healthier and dairy-free just switch out the butter for coconut oil. The results will be just as delicious.
  • Midway cooking your wings, flip them to ensure they are crunchy on each side. This will help to cook evenly.
  • For any leftover keto chicken wings, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and they should be consumed within 4 days.
