  • 1/2 cup of hot water
  • 1/3 cup of parmesan cheese
  • 3 tsp. of xanthan gum
  • Olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Put the coconut flour in a deep bowl. Add the grated 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese on top, followed by the xanthan gum. Finally, add hot water; ensure the water has just boiled. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the mixture takes on the form of slightly dry dough.
  2. Form the dough into a ball and place it back in its bowl. Cover it with cling film or directly cover the dough and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. After the 15-minute resting period, prepare a zip lock bag or freezer bag. Put the round dough into it and press it with your hand to flatten it into a thin shape, resembling sliced potatoes.
  4. Using a knife, chop the flattened dough into long, thin pieces resembling French fries.
  5. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add enough olive oil and heat it. Then, add the chopped dough pieces at intervals and start frying them.
  6. Continue frying until the dough turns golden brown.
