The General Motors diet (GM) is a 7-day weight loss plan that includes eating certain foods on certain days. It produces such surprising results that those who try it repeat the diet every few months.

This plan is designed for one week at a time and cannot be used for an extended period. But the diet will change the shape of your body and the results will excite you.

Day 1:
Consume only fruit on the first day. You are free to consume as much fruit as you want. The only fruit you cannot consume on this day is bananas. Consume fruit throughout the day.
The two best choices that will give the best results are melons and watermelons. It is important to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. You can also puree some fruits in your blender and carry them.
Day 2:
On the second day, consume only vegetables. You are free to consume as many vegetables as you want. You can even consume potatoes for breakfast today.
Eat any raw or cooked vegetables you want. Start the day with baked potatoes with butter and chili pepper powder.
You can prepare all your vegetables as a salad and use vinegar, lemon and spices for flavoring. Do not use ready-made salad sauce.
General Motors Diet Plan: Day 3
On the third day, you can consume as many vegetables and fruits as possible. Except for the banana! Combine fruit and vegetables in your meals.
If you want, you can also mix fruits and vegetables in a blender and consume them. You shouldn’t eat bananas or potatoes today.
Day 4:
On the fourth day, you can consume as much oil-free milk and bananas as you wish. And the GM soup is also free.
GM Soup: Chop 6 large onions and 2 green peppers and fry in olive oil in a pot. Pour half a liter of water into the pot. Cut 3 medium tomatoes, celery and a cabbage. Then add these vegetables into the pot. It takes about 60 minutes to prepare the soup. Vegetables need to be boiled. You can add spices and salt and optionally you can use a blender after cooking.
Since today is the day of milk and banana, you can combine these two. You can eat a maximum of 8 bananas and consume 4 glasses of skimmed milk. The combination of potassium in bananas and calcium in milk is what makes this work healthy. Also, you can enjoy GM Power Soup today.
Day 5:
On the fifth day, you can eat as much lean meat, chicken or fish and tomatoes as you wish. In addition, GM soup is also free. You can start a delicious day with meatballs and tomatoes.
You will need to increase your water intake to cleanse your body of uric acid. Therefore, increase water intake by at least a quarter on the fifth day.
Day 6:
On the sixth day, you can consume as much lean red meat and vegetables as possible. For this day, you can consume as much lean protein and vegetables as you want.
Day 7:
On the seventh day, you can consume as many fruits and vegetables as possible. Apart from that, whole wheat rice is also free.
On the last day, you can consume as many vegetables, fruit juices and whole wheat rice as you want. Make sure the juice is not concentrated or added sugar. It is preferred that you blend fresh fruit for your juice.
Rules of the General Motors Diet
- Beans are not in the diet. The diet claims to be high in calories and can cause weight gain.
- You can consume coffee and green tea, but without any sweetener added.
- Avoid soda, alcohol and other calorie-dense beverages.
- After finishing the one-week plan, the GM diet recommends consuming a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet to sustain weight loss.
