Dukan Diet Cruise Phase
The Dukan diet cruise phase meal plan is the essential portion of the diet. This is the reintroduction phase of vegetables and 100 approved foods from the list.
After the completion of the first phase, which is the attack phase, the cruise phase begins.
During this phase, you can eat only the allowed vegetables and proteins, and that too on alternate days. Some new – veggies & protein-rich – foods are added to the list.
Starchy foods, including corn, lentils, beans, potatoes, and other veggies, are avoided in this phase due to their higher carbs and proteins.
The phase guarantees at least two pounds of weight loss every week. You must continue the phase until the desired “target weight” or “true weight” is reached.
Dukan Diet Cruise Phase Meal Plan- Foods You Can Eat
Compared to the attack phase, the approved foods list grows slightly in the cruise phase. There are 68 allowed protein-rich foods in the first phase, and the second phase adds 32 non-starchy vegetables to the list.
All these 100 foods are perfect for the cruise phase to shred weight effortlessly. You need not go hungry or starve when following the Dukan diet.
These foods contain adequate minerals, vitamins, fiber, proteins, and carbs to keep the body in good shape. And you can have these foods in unlimited quantities.
Dukan diet cruise phase includes Pure Protein (PP – also known as Only Protein days) and Protein + Veggies days. These can be followed alternatively or in any prescribed cycle.
The approved cruise phase cycles are:
- One-day pure protein and one-day protein + veggies
- Five days pure protein and five days protein + veggies
- Two days pure protein and five days protein + veggies

Dukan Diet Cruise Phase Meal Plan- The Rules to Follow
There are some strict rules to follow when shredding two pounds per week.
For example, you must eat two tablespoons of oat bran daily to keep the body’s metabolism in good shape. There are many more rules that one needs to follow to reach the true weight.
Some of the do follow the rules are:
- Water Intake- More Than or Equal to Two Liters
The most necessary part to consider when preparing the Dukan diet cruise phase meal plan is to keep the body sufficiently hydrated all the time.
One must drink at least 1.5 liters to 2 liters daily to reach the target weight.
Keeping the body hydrated is necessary to avoid specific water-loss issues. A protein-rich diet leads to water loss in the body.
- Walking and Exercising- For No Less Than 30 Minutes
Exercising is a part of the cruise phase. One must take 30 30-minute daily walks when in this phase.

- Don’t Go Hungry Anytime
