About this collection
Our high-protein section covers meal plans and recipes engineered to hit 100 to 150+ grams of protein per day across calorie targets from 1,200 to 2,500 kcal. Coverage includes high-protein for weight loss, high-protein low-carb, high-protein vegetarian, Atkins and Dukan style plans, and post-workout meals, with 30 to 50 grams of protein per meal.
Every plan is macro-balanced so protein comes in at or above 0.8 g/kg body weight, with active readers targeting 1.4 to 2.0 g/kg. Nutrition data is calculated per serving against the Nutritionix database and USDA references. Recipe cards list per-serving protein in grams and pull from lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, legumes, tofu, tempeh, and whole grains, with fiber flagged so higher protein loads do not stall digestion.
Plans are written or reviewed by our Registered Dietitians Brenda Peralta, Kerly Cordova, Marita Radloff, and Karolina Peterova, and medically reviewed by Franco Cuevas, MD. Recipes are tested by our Food Editor Damla Sengul in our Wayne, NJ kitchen. If a protein number does not add up, email us at social@dietsmealplan.com.
