Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup powdered whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Truvia granulated sweetener
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. xanthan gum
  • 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. ancho chili powder or more according to your taste
  • 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream topping optional

Instructions
 

  • In a medium container, mix the powdered milk, granulated sweetener, unsweetened cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, chili powder, and xanthan gum. For this process, you can use a whisk and mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • When done, set aside in an airtight container and place it in a dark room until we can use it for our recipe.
  • When you are ready to have a glass of hot chocolate, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of the preparation in a microwave-safe glass. Mix your glass with hot water and stir until all is blended.
  • Next, place your glass in the microwave on high for 30 seconds or more if desired. Remove the glass, stir to blend ingredients, and enjoy.

  • This mixture will serve for additional servings. To store, keep it in an airtight container until using it next time.
  • If you wish, you can add cold tap water instead of hot water and microwave the mix on high for 1 - 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Both ways result in a yummy heavenly drink!
