About this collection

Our raw food diet section covers plant-forward raw eating, uncooked or heated below roughly 118 F (48 C), with full-week meal plans, a women-specific plan, raw vegan breakfast smoothies, and beginner recipes. Daily calories usually sit between 1,200 and 1,800 kcal.

Raw plans lean on fruit, leafy greens, sprouts, soaked nuts and seeds, cold-pressed oils, and fermented foods. Protein is kept at or above 0.8 g/kg body weight from sprouted legumes, hemp seeds, and nut butters. Nutrition data is calculated per meal against the Nutritionix database and USDA references. Cards flag the nutrients most likely to run short: vitamin B12 (supplementation is generally reasonable), vitamin D, iron and iron-absorption pairing, zinc, calcium, and omega-3 from flax, chia, and walnut.

Raw food plans are written or reviewed by a Registered Dietitian on our team, Brenda Peralta, Kerly Cordova, Marita Radloff, or Karolina Peterova, and medically reviewed by Franco Cuevas, MD. Raw eating is not recommended in pregnancy or for immunocompromised readers without clinical guidance. Corrections go to social@dietsmealplan.com.
