Vegan Pizzelle Recipe
This is perhaps as easy as making a waffle. It may seem like one of the simplest recipes in the world. But if you don’t combine the right ingredients with the right measurements, the result will, unfortunately, be soft dough and tasteless Italian waffles. So remember that all the ingredients on the shopping list are of great importance. Let’s start.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups of white rice flour
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 tbsp. almond extract
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup of organic sugar
- 2 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup of water
Instructions
- Start making the pizzelle dough by bringing a deep mixing bowl. Pour 3/4 cup of organic sugar into the bowl.
- Add 1/4 cup of olive oil to it.
- Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and mix well after adding almond extract. Mix for 30-40 seconds to ensure all ingredients are well mixed.
- To continue preparation, add 1 3/4 cups of white rice flour and baking powder to the mixture.
- Mix well for the last time.
- At the end of the mixing process, you will get a thick dough that is not very runny.
- Now, start preheating your waffle maker or pizzelle iron. Then grease it.
- Take a tablespoon of thick dough, roll it and put it in the middle of the pizzelle iron.
- Let it cook for 40-50 seconds.
- Repeat the same process until the dough is done.
