Forest Kebab is a dish unique to a Turkish city, where the chefs of Ottoman Cuisine have mastered it. It contains plenty of meat, peas, carrots, and vegetables such as potatoes, and it is cooked very slowly for 45-50 minutes on the lowest heat. Although there is no detailed information about where the name came from, this easy-to-prepare, nutritious, healthy, and very popular dish is usually served with cooked rice and a bowl of Greek yogurt.
